Our Ministries

There are several opportunities to get involved at Mt. Herman AME. Take a look at the list below to see what we have to offer!

  • Mount Up 2 Succeed

    Mount Up 2 Succeed gives elementary school age children an opportunity to explore and learn about traditional and non-traditional careers by having presenters come in monthly and talk about their career AND their hobby. A key component of “Mount Up” is exposing children to the ARTS.


    Description:  Each month we will have a guest artist, musician, dancer, photographer or actor, to name a few. They will share about their careers and the children will have an opportunity to ask questions and participate hands-on. They will learn how to make a living and a life doing what they enjoy.


  • Mass Choir

    "Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing." – Psalm 100:2


    Mass Choir Rehearsal is on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. – rehearse before 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday.

  • Male Chorus

    "Singing aloud a song of thanksgiving, and telling all your wondrous deeds." – Psalm 26:7


    Male Choir rehearsal is on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. – rehearse on Saturday before 3rd and 5th Sunday


  • Women's Missionary Society (WMS)

    "…She was devoted to good works and acts of charity." - Acts 9:36


    Fosters missionary activities by the local church, area and conference. The Young People’s and Children’s Division (YPD) are under the umbrella of the WMS.
